Personal response
What
have I learned?
- After all the hard work of researching, gathering information and putting it all together to see whether the immigration laws in Canada, Mexico and America are ethical, I learned that immigration is not simple, but a sophisticated action that requires lots of skills and patience. The laws in Canada were expected and they were fairly straightforward as well as ethical for all foreigners no matter who it is. Something interesting I learned was that the immigration laws in Mexico is tougher than they are in America. I was expecting US immigration to be strict since there are many illegal immigration, especially people from Mexico. However, Mexico is unfair towards the immigrants and do not give them equal rights. Nevertheless, the countries are connected and related so there are advantages in immigrating to one of those countries if you are from North America. In most occasions, Mexicans and Canadians are not required to have a visa to enter America.
How
has what I have learned changed my opinion?
- I thought it would be very simple and easy to immigrate to another country and get a job or any occupation to earn money, but after learning all the laws, I realized it would be better to stay in my innate country and settle there. However, it did not change my mind of travelling around the world since immigration laws do not apply while travelling.
